Hello.

My name is Hayli Chwang. I am a creative technologist and play designer with a passion for systems thinking and social innovation. Currently based between the Gold Coast and Berlin.

Fascinated by big ideas. empathetic and curious about what makes people tick. I am good at many things, but I’m happiest when I am pushing boundaries, exploring new ideas and rallying others to the cause. 

I am a seasoned creative who works at the intersection of different things. With over 15 years of professional experience in strategy, design, producing, management, branding and communications across Europe, Australia and Asia.

Since 2018, I have been the CEO and co-founder of a purpose-led gaming startup. Dodo Laboratory evolved from a passion project with a good friend. It essentially grew out of a series of commissions from international festivals, where we prototyped our ideas on how to empower kids to use their imaginations to tackle big global challenges, through meaningful play, adventure and alternate reality games.

I love to fight the good fight, whether it’s with a bottle of gin, coding for fun or how not to kill my cactus.
